Who are we and what do we do?
ESF is currently a WhatsApp group which discusses ideas for Future energy solutions/improvements for Elmsbrook, plus an email network of those concerned with SSE heating costs, issues, and future scenarios: the two are strongly interconnected, if differently focused!
The appgroup is a regular source of interesting news and thoughts re eco energy developments. Please ask (on a Phase appgroup) if you’d like to be added! (This group also includes, very usefully, two non-Elmsbrook residents who are experts in the field – Lewis from BioRegional, and Jim who is an ecohome wiring/networking systems designer and energy futures enthusiast!)
The combined network of these groups has only held on face-to-face meeting to date, in Autumn 2022. Unfortunately, other pressing matters (defects, service charge, Firethorn application/inquiry!) plus lack of engagement from SSE and A2 on heating matters have not enabled much process.
